More cool stuff from the toy fair..

Monster High and Ever After High were the most exciting toy lines for me out of all the stuff shown at the NY toy fair, but there was some other stuff that caught my eye too, so I thought I’d make one more toy fair post.

Once Upon a Zombie is a line of dolls that debuted last year, but hasn’t shown up in many stores; I was thinking the line was dead or dying (no pun intended), but they were actually at the toy fair.

Unfortunately the only actual dolls that appear to have been displayed were the ones that are already released.  There were only promo images for the new products:

I’ve  been tempted to order a OUAZ doll online before, but I really want to see them in person first.  Unfortunately the ones I’m most interested in are ones that we’ve only seen concept art for online, like Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, and Captain Hook and Pinocchio.

Another brand I’m interested in that was represented at the NY toy fair is My Little Pony.  Since I’m not hugely into these toys – I’m a pony fan, just don’t find the toys worth spending my very limited money on – I’ll just drop some pics here of the MLP stuff that caught my eye.

Gothpunk ponies. I can dig it.

That Queen Chyrsalis pony is gorgeous. And hey look, it’s an anthro Photo Finish!  And a seriously punk rock chick there on the bottom.  Sweet.

I’m not a fan of the bulky rubber clothing (80’s ponywear was so much better!) but that recreation of Pinkie’s ridiculous outfit from the show is awesome!

Pony POP – neat idea, but damn they’re ugly.

Sadly, the only of these things I’ll probably see here in Central Nowhere, Canada is the ponies – and I don’t even want to buy those.  Anybody want to trade me a Girl Scout Barbie when they come out? XD
